All endings are also beginnings. We just don’t know it at the time.

  14. Quotable quotes:
All endings are also beginnings. We just don’t know it at the time. (p1)
Scenery without solace is meaningless (p35)
You have peace… when you make it with yourself (p113)
Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from the inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves. (p141)
  15. Comments:
There was no extravagant or beautiful writing (pot calling the kettle black, I know.) where it moved you to want to experience everything with Eddie. Nor will you fall inlove with any particular character as you read this book, Eddie’s only compelling quality is his love for his wife.  It has been said that it “will change everything you’ve ever thought about the afterlife — and the meaning of our lives here on earth.” I call bullshit. Whats more is the dreadful book was turned into a TV movie, I can only hope it was more interesting than the book because if I had sat down to watch it I would have wanted that 2hours of my life back. Don’t do it people, there are so many books out there, this is not one to waste your time on.
